- For Single Paper:
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000
- SC / ST / PH: ₹500
- For Both Papers (Primary & Junior):
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1200
- SC / ST / PH: ₹600

Eligibility Criteria
Primary Level (Class I to V)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Job Type
The CTET certification qualifies candidates for teaching positions in various schools across India. It is a mandatory qualification for those aspiring to become teachers for primary (Class I to V) and junior (Class VI to VIII) levels in central government schools and schools under the administrative control of Union Territories.
Qualification
